Mgr. Ruth Valentová, Ph.D. specializes in the area of teaching English to students of Primary Education and Primary Education in combination with Special Education. She successfully completed her Ph.D. studies in 2005 and defended her thesis called "Improvement of foreign language teaching methods at universities for students of non-linguistic branches of study using ICT". She is a language practice teacher at the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Education and a member of examining board of English for the postgraduate studies at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Palacky University in Olomouc for students of Special Pedagogy, Art and Music Education.
